About this policy
This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage that Linkline Connect Ltd, trading as LinkLine, uses on linkline.io and www.linkline.io, why we use them, and how you can control them. Linkline Connect Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed via this website. ICO registration number: ZC198482.
Necessary storage
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the keylinkline.cookie-consent.v1so the consent banner does not reappear on every page. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice and is not used for analytics or advertising.
Where you are matters
We use advertising and measurement technologies from Meta — the Meta Pixel in your browser and the Meta Conversions API from our servers. How they are switched on depends on the country your connection is coming from, which we determine from the country code our network provider (Cloudflare) attaches to your request.
- Visitors in the United States — analytics and advertising technologies, including the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, are active by default, consistent with the opt-out model used by US state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA “Do Not Sell or Share” right). You can opt out at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page: switch the Marketing (Meta Pixel) option off and save. That stops advertising tracking (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API); analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) stay on unless you switch them off too.
- Visitors outside the United States — including the UK and EU, nothing optional runs until you actively accept. You will see the consent banner described below, and the Meta Pixel, the Meta Conversions API and Google Analytics stay switched off until you accept (GDPR / UK PECR opt-in model).
- If we cannot determine your country — we treat you as being outside the United States and apply the opt-in banner. Nothing optional runs until you accept.
The consent banner
The website uses a consent banner to give you control over cookies and similar technologies. On your first visit you will see a banner that reads “We use optional analytics and marketing cookies” with three options:
- Accept all — enables analytics (Google Analytics 4) and marketing (Meta Pixel) cookies;
- Reject non-essential — blocks all analytics and marketing cookies; and
- Cookie settings — opens a granular preferences panel where you can enable or disable Analytics (Google Analytics 4) and Marketing (Meta Pixel) separately. The “Necessary” category, required for the site to function, is always on.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key linkline.cookie-consent.v1so the banner does not reappear on every visit. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page.
Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2G6WYEFC17), provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), to understand how visitors use the website and improve its performance. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics via the consent banner — by clicking “Accept all” or by enabling Analytics in “Cookie settings.” If you reject or withdraw consent, Google Analytics does not load, no GA4 cookies are set, and any previously set GA4 cookies are deleted.
When enabled, Google Analytics sets the following cookies in your browser:
_ga— distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years._ga_2G6WYEFC17— persists session state for this GA4 property. Expires after 2 years.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) remain denied unless you also enable marketing. Once you grant marketing consent, the Meta Pixel and associated advertising signals activate.
Google acts as the third-party provider for the analytics service. Information about Google's processing is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
Meta Pixel
With your marketing consent, we load the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and to retarget and reach relevant audiences on Meta, Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel only loads if you click “Accept all” or enable Marketing via “Cookie settings.” If you click “Reject non-essential,” the Meta Pixel does not load, does not set cookies, and does not track your activity.
When you complete a booking form or confirm a Calendly appointment, the Meta Pixel may fire standard events (such as Lead or Schedule) for ad measurement. These events are sent only while marketing consent is active.
In addition to the browser-based Pixel, we may send the same events directly from our servers to Meta (Meta’s Conversions API) to improve measurement accuracy. Where available, your email address and phone number are included in an irreversible hashed form so Meta can match the event to an existing account; we never send them in readable form. These server-side events are subject to exactly the same condition — they are sent only while your marketing consent is active, and nothing is sent if you reject non-essential cookies via Cookie Settings.
Calendly
Our meeting-booking link directs visitors to Calendly's external website. Calendly is not embedded in the LinkLine website, and no Calendly scripts or cookies are loaded by our website before you follow that link. Once you visit Calendly, its own privacy and cookie notices apply.
Internal storage of lead information
When you submit a booking form, your details (name, email, mobile number, agency name, vertical and any message) are saved internally in a Google Sheet for our sales team to process your enquiry. This is internal processing by LinkLine and does not set cookies in your browser. It is described further in our Privacy Policy.
Direct-message ads
We may also receive enquiries through Meta and Instagram direct-message (DM) ads. If you message us via such an ad, the message and any information you share are processed as a lead-generation channel alongside our website lead form and Meta lead ads, under Meta's and our own practices.
How to accept, reject or withdraw consent
On your first visit you will see a banner that reads “We use optional analytics and marketing cookies” with the three options described above. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Rejecting or withdrawing consent prevents Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel from loading, and no analytics or marketing cookies are created.
You can also clear existing cookies through your browser settings.
No other tracking
We do not use session replay, heatmaps, browser fingerprinting or other tracking technologies beyond those described above. If we introduce additional cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this page and, where required, request fresh consent.
